The SLTO and SLTR lamellar flap discs are characterised by the “CeramicAd” abrasive material, which is a further development of the regular red ceramic cloth. This is an improved solution as it is faster and more efficient. The back plate stability and grain adhesion of the CeramicAd are precisely matched and guarantee the maximum performance of the lamellar flap disc. The self-sharpening effect of the ceramic grain enables a high stock removal rate to be achieved, particularly on stainless steel. The flat carrier disc of the SLTO and the dished carrier disc of the SLTR offer versatile solutions for a broad range of applications.
