The LUKAS V2 Edge with CeramicAd flap disc was developed for the toughest jobs, in particular for machining tempered steels, scale surfaces and coated surfaces. The glass-fibre fabric carrier ensures stability and flexibility for creating outstanding surface results. The innovative CeramicAd abrasive is the next development of the red ceramic cloth and offers enhanced performance and durability. Thanks to the patented sickle flap shape and arrangement, the V2 Power flap disc reduces noise and vibrations by 50% compared to standard grinding discs.
The multi-layer abrasive coating ensures that the flaps are always as sharp as when the tool was first used – fresh abrasive flaps are exposed to replace worn flaps, ensuring consistent quality and a long tool life. The grinding disc is also highly resistant to breakage, making it easier to work with minimum vibration and maximum efficiency. The new feature of the V2 Edge is the especially small glass-fibre fabric carrier, which allows for an extra-large overlap of the patented sickle-shaped flaps.
This means that the tool can now also be used on radial and end surfaces, enabling the machining of hard-to-reach workpiece shapes and geometries. Together with the extremely high removal rate, this makes it a true all-rounder that can be used for practically every job.
