Agile reliability coupled with consistent quality
The LUKAS brand stands for agility, sustainability and reliability, and organises all its operational activities so that these values are upheld. In order to benefit from the greater planning security and reliability offered by short supply chains, LUKAS principally manufactures and trades “Made in Germany” or at least “near Germany”. The focus is clearly aimed at a holistic regional production strategy: Materials are also purchased from local and regional suppliers wherever possible. Supply chains benefit from greater reliability and planning assurance on account of the short transport routes as this makes them less dependent upon international air and sea transportation. Last but not least, this also enables LUKAS to cut down its CO₂ emissions to meet its own sustainability targets.
